Doin’ Moon is the story of Scorcha and his journey of hope through an emotional landscape of memories and relationships after imprisonment. Constrained by his new world, challenges and conflicts uncover a truth of heart through each passing lunar phase. Told in a series of non-linear scenes that combine narrative, vocals, cello and cajons, the story is thought-provoking as it documents the shedding of skins, response to loss, identity and control. The fusion of classical music and spoken word provide a platform for the heart-warming journey – a blended language of emotional essence and clarity of narrative.
